I'm a passionate logo designer. Nothing makes me
happier than using my design expertise to help
companies showcase their product and business.
I have been helping a lot of startups
with brand identity and other graphic designing
works. I know what works well with which brand and I
can assure you that I'll design the best creative
logo that will bring success to your brand. If you
are looking for a designer to build your brand
identity, we should talk.
A logo brands the company and communicates with the public what they do in a very simple straightforward graphic that will last for years.
Logo design requires research, thought, care and
attention to ensure the final design stands out from the
competition, targets the correct market and broadcasts
the right message.
Below I have provided an
overview of my 5 step logo design process, which I
believe results in the most effective logo design to
help you achieve your business goals and ambitions.
In order to design the perfect logo I need
you to fill the Creative Brief, which you'll
find on the hire page. This has been
designed to gain a good understanding of
you, your business, competition and target
audience.
Based on your responses I will create a list
of goals that need to be met by the logo
design. This list forms the design brief,
which will be used as a foundation for the
decisions made during the design phase.
One of the most important parts of any
design process is research and discovery.
This is where I will research and study your
company, its history and competition, as
well as the groups and individuals you aim
to target in order to understand the
challenges faced. This research ensures I
know your business inside out, so I’m able
to design a logo that represents the
uniqueness of the company or product.
The research phase is also an opportunity to
discover potential ideas which could be used
as inspiration during the ideas generation
phase.
When working on designs I start on paper
using numerous idea generation techniques,
such as brainstorming and word mapping.
Once ideas have been explored on paper I
will begin to work on the designs using
Adobe Illustrator, a vector-based software,
which means the artwork produced is scalable
and will never lose quality.
Once I have several designs prepared, I will
have an incubation period where I will not
look at the designs. During this time I may
consider new ideas, and can return to the
project with a fresh perspective allowing me
to refine and perfect the designs where
needed.
Once designs are ready to present, I will
create a PDF document which will display the
logo designs created, along with supporting
notes with each logo presented, explaining
the design decisions made.
With each design I also include a series of
high resolution images to help you visualise
how the logo will look in real life use. For
example, on business cards, a shop exterior,
clothing and more...
I take pride in my work, and ensure to
present only the designs I am confident in,
and will give you my opinion on which I
believe will be most suitable for your
business based on the goals discussed.
I will however leave the final choice to
you, and if you feel the design could be
improved or modified to better meet the
objectives, changes will be made where
necessary.
Once a design has been selected and refined,
I will prepare a comprehensive logo package
containing files for both web and print use,
and will transfer full copyright of the
final chosen design to you.
I include a logo usage document to help you
understand how to use the different file
formats so you can make the most of your new
logo. If at any point you have any
questions, I’ll be available to help and
support you ongoing.
If required, I can also assist with the
design and print of additional items such as
stationery, brochures or other marketing
material that you may require to launch your
new identity.
Hopefully this overview of the logo design
process has given you sufficient insight,
